Paul Evans, Founder and CEO
Realty Market Update founder, Paul Evans, has spent most of his 25+ year career
designing and developing data analysis, data warehouse, and business
intelligence applications for financial services, manufacturing,
and service companies.
He has an MBA in Statistics and Operations Research from New York University
and substantial computer science education and training.
Paul’s past employers and clients include UBS, Bank of America, IBM,
Georgia-Pacific, Sun Life Financial, Air Express International, and Simon & Schuster.
Jeff Strauss, VP Sales
Jeff joined RMU from William Raveis Real Estate, a leading independent broker in
Connecticut and Massachusetts, where he was VP, Corporate Information.
Prior to that, he was a Senior Sales Manager at Raveis.
Jeff has a degree in
engineering from Cornell and prior to his 20+ year career in real estate
had advanced to a senior position in marketing at IBM.
Sam Gabe, Director, Sales Enablement
Sam’s role encompasses sales recruiting and training as well as managing RMU’s
CRM platform.
His 25 year career is an interesting mix of real estate, recruiting,
and management consulting. Before joining RMU, Sam successfully
launched and piloted a technology staffing practice that became
the largest supplier of IBM Rational services in North America.
Sam’s past clients include American Express, CBS, IBM, Reader’s Digest and Time Warner.
Charlotte Evans, Director, Publications
Charlotte was a reporter, editor, and newsroom manager at the New York Times for 32 years
before retiring in August, 2008. She has a B.A. from the University of Connecticut and an
M.S. in journalism from Columbia University. As Paul's sister, she has been a supporter
of RMU since its inception.
Pat Laffaye, Manager, Data Quality
Pat's 20 plus year career has spanned real estate, information technology and finance.
He worked at IBM for 16 years, supporting internal and external clients as well as top executives
in the areas of Multimedia and Finance. He also successfully launched a hospitality-based advertising company.
His experience includes data analysis as well as building business intelligence tools and infrastructures,
(e.g. web portals and business metrics reporting)
Pat is a graduate of Cornell University where he received a BS in Engineering and
has an MS in Management Information Systems from Boston University's Graduate School of Business.
